Family Gardening Workshop

A days workshop oriented towards families with kids who wish to learn how to grow vegetables at home.

PROGRAM:

09:30
Meeting point is at our vegetable shop, were tea/coffee and cake will be served.

10:00
Introduction and farm tour. After that a demonstration on planting seeds and seedlings.

12:00 –
Lunch served from vegetables grown on our fields.

13:00 –
 Demonstration of how easily one can grow rucola, lettuce and herbs in pots at home on a balcony or roof.

 How to manage pests and apply organic fertiliser.

Planting a tree

16:00 –
End of workshop. Tea/coffee and cake will be served.

Participants will be given a 10% discount on any Organic fruit and veg purchased at our vegetable shop.

It is advised that you bring a hat, gardening gloves and boots as we will be getting dirty. If you wish to take notes please bring a notepad and pen.

The workshop is unfortunately not suited for young children and no pets are allowed.

Prices as follows:
€75 per person including lunch.
€130 for couples including lunch.
€200 for a family of 4 including lunch
