A little bit about us
We started Island Bébé in December 2020 with one mission: to make parenting in Malta easier.
As parents ourselves, we know that Malta has so much to offer young families, but all the information is scattered around, difficult to find and often outdated.
We wanted to solve this problem by offering high-quality, relatable, local content in one accessible platform. Through this site and our social media channels, we share expert advice, suggestions for family activities and reviews of local brands and services, all within a fun, relatable parenting community.
From parks to packed lunches, product reviews and parenting lols, we’ve got your back.
When you have questions about your little one, you don’t really want to trust any old website or influencer with the answer. We get that.
Plus – most of the content out there isn’t really relevant to Malta and Gozo, is it? We have an excellent system of medical and maternity care which is so different to the rest of the world. It’s hard to know what advice counts for our little island.
That’s why we’ve partnered with MyMama to get sound, current advice from local paediatricians, gynaecologists, midwives, therapists and educators. We ask them the questions you want the answers to, so you don’t have to.
